A journey to adventure
If you’re like me, then when you start a new game you want to be amazed right from the start. You don't want to wait until you're some ungodly level before the fun in the game starts. Fortunately, you don't have to wait in Gates of Andaron, and I'll be taking you along on my ride as I experience everything that the game has to offer.
The first choice that you'll be given (after downloading and installing) is whether you want to be a Valorian (a nation with strong military power, utilizing integrated battle tactics) or a Derion (a country of harmonious coalition of magic and scientific research).
After that, you'll need to choose what race your character will be. In Andaron there are three primary races. The first race are Humans, who are intelligent, fast and flexible. The next race are the Neved, who are part feline and have a close connection with nature. The last race are the little Mirhur, who are fairies with the uncanny ablities to rule science and magic in harmony.
The last thing you have to choose before you’re into the action is your class, and Gates of Andaron has six classes to offer:
- Warriors – Heavy armor, powerful weapons...need I say more?
- Night Walkers – Masters of stealth with keen abilities to find the enemy’s weakness.
- Rekamies – aka: Priests with control both white and black magic, so you can heal or deal damage in dangerous situations.
- Archers – Long-range masters who also possess skills for close combat.
- Evocators – Can control and summon powerful minion monsters to do their will.
- Magicians – Wizards who control the elements to rain down destruction on their foes.
PvP combat, commanding armies in battle with up to 49 other players, crafting, crafting, crafting, and great quests. With all that said I’m just getting started to play Gates of Andaron, so come along for the ride! I'll keep you posted on my adventures and challenges, as I level up and advance my characters in this fully open and challenging world.
