EQ2_Sentinels_FateWhat's better then poking around the Sentinel's Fate beta server on your own? Being guided through some of the wondrous zones and experiencing it with hundreds of your closest friends, of course! That was the plan at 4 p.m. PST on Feb. 5, as Alan "Brenlo" Crosby, Senior Producer of EverQuest II, showed players and fans what they could expect from the 6th expansion, Sentinel's Fate.

Things started out a little rocky with some technical difficulties, but it didn't take long before everything was set and we were gazing at the City of Paineel. Brenlo spoke to viewers about not only the new expansion but about other updates that the teams have been busy working on. This included:

  • A better flow of content for players, including a new storyteller system, and smoother transition in experience between levels.
  • Floating Discs that players can use as mounts, hovering majestically above the ground.
  • New and improved mythical weapon upgrades; no longer do players have to worry about whether their hard-earned mythicals will be outdated in Sentinel's Fate.

If you're interested in viewing future events that Sony hosts on their Ustream you can follow their channel here. There is an event coming up fairly soon for those who are interested, so no worries if you've missed out on the last one.

SOE Valentine's Day Ustream Event
