EverQuest II Celebrates Erollisi's Day

E-mail Print PDF

EQ2_Erollisi_DayThe feeling of love is once again in the air, and as Valentine's Day moves closer (Feb. 14 for all you forgetful husbands and boyfriends!), characters in Norrath prepare for Erollisi Day. Quests from previous years are in-game again, and the dev teams have also added some new rewards for those who may already have the old items.

One of my favorite Erollisi Day quests is located out in Antonica. Players have a minute to sign up for a scavenger-hunt-type quest (there must be at least three total participants in order to run this event) and have a limited time to search all over for hearts that spawn on the ground. Harvesting them adds to your “total” and whoever has the most when the time runs out wins. There are various rewards to choose from, and if you're one of the top two players you can receive some special rewards that are not otherwise available.

There are also quests in North Qeynos (by the Claymore) and by the Costal Grove in Antonica. They send you all over Norrath (I had to go to Thundering Steppes, Nektulos Forest, and the Enchanted Lands) for rewards of house items, appearance gear, and even a pet or two that will trail after you. Don't forget to stop by the NPC merchants either, as they'll have lots of goodies to sell you, including some awesome recipe books (three in total) filled with recipes for crafted house items that crafters of all levels can create. You'll also find a wide selection of flowers to purchase (they make great gifts, hint hint) among the treasures.

Wishing you had a special way to celebrate Erollisi Day with your loved one? Well, SOE is also hosting a Ustream event that you can watch on Feb. 12 at 1 p.m. PST where you can send in Valentine’s Day requests! For more information you can check out the post over on the EQ2 players site.

Have your own special Erollisi Day memory? Why not share it with our Beckett MOG readers! In the mean time, I'll see you in Norrath!
