Having recently released the 16th expansion, Underfoot, in December, players will want to log in to participate in the latest round of activities celebrating this magnificent birthday.

Blizzard, Other Developers, Attending PAX East

Final Fantasy XIV Disciplines Revealed

FFXIV_logoSquare Enix has shed some light on the disciplines (i.e., classes) that will be available when Final Fantasy XIV releases this summer. Remember that, unlike most MMOs, your FFXIV character can change his or her discipline at virtually any time, to suit the situation, changing from melee fighter to caster to gatherer to crafter simply by changing equipment. With 14 disciplines announced, there should be plenty to keep players busy for many long months (and years) after the game's release.

Blast Off to Lego Universe Closed Beta

Sign up to become a beta tester on the game's web site here. While you're on the site, you can also play one of the fun minigames to contribute more minifigs to Lego Universe here, and maybe find yourself ranked on the leaderboards!

About Rifts in Aion

Aion2As you level up through the early twenties in Aion (and even earlier if you happen to watch the chat channels often enough), you'll hear people talking about “rifting.” I'm going to give a brief explanation today on what that is, and why you're going to want to figure out how it works. A rift is a portal that opens up between the Elyos lands and the Asmodian lands. They appear randomly in level 20+ zones and are one of the few ways to PvP, aside from traveling to the Abyss. It's also used to reach instances.
